Sean Conroy

Sly, smart, and exceedingly silly, Sean Conroy is a gifted comedian with an impressive skill set: Writer, Stand-up, Improviser, Actor. Sean has written for Adult Swim,Comedy Central, Seeso, MTV, Spike TV, UPN, NBC and ABC. Most recently he was Head Writer and Co-Executive Producer for 4 seasons of the cult hit Adult Swim show Mr. Pickles, an animated show about a dog who worships Satan and is a serial killer. During that time he was also Head Writer and Executive Producer for Gentleman Lobsters, an animated show for the late-lamented Seeso network about two millennial bros who just happen to be… lobsters. As a Stand-Up, Conroy has been featured on Comedy Central and Conan O'Brien. He wrote his own one-man show, Taught, that went to the HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen, CO. As an Improviser, Sean is a regular performer in ASSSSCAT, the flagship show at the UCB Theater; in fact, the UCB asked him to perform in their live special taped in 2007. He is a founding member of "The SWARM," the legendary “first-ever house team” at the UCB Theater. He has performed a variety of roles (most of which fall under the umbrella he calls “Weird Guy”) on all your favorite TV shows- everything from Comedy Bang! Bang! to Review to War at Home… (okay maybe not all your favorite TV shows per se…). He hosted the acclaimed podcast The Long Shot (Podcast) and created and co-hosted the podcast The Great American Cabinet of Curiosities.
