Many times during the war, propaganda in the form of pamphlets were tucked into thousands of armpits of the enemy, under cover of night, and only in countries that had wall to wall carpet. The message was clear, "Muffins and tea in the lobby. 6-8". Those who over slept found that they suffered from MOS decades after the war's end.
