Comedian Felipe Esparza talks with random people he finds interesting. It might be somebody kind of famous or it might be that homeless guy at the end of your street who you walk past every day without saying hello. Everyone has a story to tell about how they got where they are, no matter who they are.

This is the man who literally saved my life and set me on the right track - the path that would eventually lead me to become a comedian. Father Greg Boyle took a gun out of my hand and put me in rehab long before he created the infamous Homeboy Industries - an organization that helps turn former gang members' lives around by giving them jobs, training and a purpose. Before that it was Jobs for the Future, and even before that, he was just a man with a mission to help local kids stop dying at the hands of other local kids. We only scratched the surface today, but know that if it wasn't for this man, I probably wouldn't be here today.

I haven't known this comedian very long, but she's funny and she's too nice to be working in comedy. In fact, she's too nice to be living in the U.S. Call her naive, call her innocent, but she came to the U.S. on her own as a teenager, with no...

Another episode with our guest co-host, comedian Dustin Ybarra (Rodrigo returns next week). Like me, Fabian had a creative streak in him...

Met up with an old friend Magdaleno "Guic" Robles for today's show. I've run into this guy off and on for the past 10 to 15 years. We've both had our struggles with substances and the hood, but we've both managed to make it out of that. Guic has been...
Recorded this past Tuesday on the day of California's primaries. Our first live call-in show! We took calls from listeners and had a lot of fun. Went by too fast. Maybe we'll do this once a month? Video is on YouTube if you want to watch it all go down...
Our guest today is Jerry O'Neill, who was a founding member and played drums for the punk/ska group Voodoo Glowskulls for 20 years. We talk about how he got into that world, getting out of it and what he's doing now. Please take 5 seconds to rate or review the...
